I don't really feel like rambling today, so everything I've said here and here about the Maybelline Color Tattoos still applies. In general, they are nice cream eyeshadows, and I am looking forward to trying each of these shades on my eyes.
The five colors you see pictured at the top of this post are the full Metallic Color Tattoo collection, which I understand are going to be made permanent (yay!) but are just now popping up in special displays in drugstores everywhere. I also compared a few of the colors to similar ones I already had from previous releases.
From left to right, I have swatched: Pink Gold, a recent European-exclusive color I had custom-purchased for me by a friend in London; Inked in Pink (from the Metallic collection), apparently a dupe of Pink Gold and therefore the US version of this European "exclusive"; Silver Strike, from the Metallic collection; Gold Rush, from the Metallic Collection; Bold Gold, from the existing permanent collection; Barely Beige, a previous limited-edition release; Barely Branded (from the Metallic collection), which is very similar to Barely Beige but, ironically, more beige (Barely Beige leans more pink/peach, Barely Branded more neutral); and Electric Blue, from the Metallic collection. These pictures were taken indoors under my new HappyLight, and I would call them color-accurate.
Here is also a fairly simple FOTD in which I am wearing Gold Rush:
Other products used in this look: Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in Ivory, Guerlain pressed powder, Chanel Fleur de Lotus blush, MAC By Candlelight MSF highlighter, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline, Clinique High Impact Curling mascara, Maybelline Define-a-Brow in Dark Blonde + Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Ash Blonde, and Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Peach.
Have you seen these Color Tattoos stores yet? Will you be picking any up?
Disclaimer: I purchased these with my own funds (at Ulta).
