Guerlain quads: how I love thee... (Swatches and Review)

I have for you today another product I adore: Guerlain eyeshadow quads. These are unusual in that they don't always look particularly exciting or impressive in swatches, but let me tell you, they are magical on the eyes. I also love that they all don't come with a frosty highlight shade (I'm looking at you, Dior) - I already have plenty of highlight shades and would rather get four "real" colors in a palette for me to play with. Here are the four Guerlain quads I have so far!

Coup de Foudre, limited edition from the Spring 2013 collection, on counters now:

And here is an example to show you what I mean when I say they look magical on the eyes. Swatched on the hand, Les Ombres Turandot looks unbelievably warm and even a bit muddy, like it would be impossible for someone with my skin tone to pull off. But see how positively flattering and glowy it is in this look I did? (Not to toot my own horn, but I really love this look on myself and always get compliments when I wear it!)
